Introduce you to the readers

Well! The band is born in 1984. The name at this time was Albion. It became Episode x and finally Allience. At the beginning we are a trio: one drummer, one singer on the bass and one lead guitar. Later, Chemma joined us and in a first time took the voice of the band and some keyboard to complete the line up.
So this is the actual line up of Allience coming from Heavy Metal like Iron Maiden and later a progressive metal band with Queensrÿche influences and also Dream Theater of course.

Who composes ?...How does it work in the band ?

How we deal is simple, Guitar Pro 6 a little bass guitar and keyboard and a text for singing. We share everything and retouch together to achieve a goal. It's a covenant!

Who writes the texts ?..What are they talking about ?..How does inspiration come ?

Initially the texts were written by our former drummer and since his departure is the bassist who care.
Each of our compounds sometimes tells a story relating to the post nuclear war, the Pharaohs, the Vietnam War, human questions, the philosophical aspects such as what happens after death. Inspiration is just a function of daily experiences, the ups, the downs, the joys, sorrows....

Why the name ALLIENCE ?

An Alliance with different musical styles, different personalities and an "e" instead of "a" because the word covenant belongs to several topics that we do not want to be attached

What are your personnal musical tastes and your influences ?

A guitar all styles because the field is wide but with a predilection for the Heavy and its derivatives. A bass Steve Harris of Maiden, John Myung of Dream Theater and 1. Geddy Lee of Rush. Our singer has very diverse tastes but mostly metal and rock (it is also our keyboardist). A drummer with metal influences.

What's your view on the current music scene here in Belgium ?

In Belgium, it is quite complicated to fit in the music especially in the metal world, it takes a lot of time and energy to a group to find dates.
Become a renowned group is very difficult. Adapted model is one that appeals to people but rarely enters the metal context.

Generally, what's the reaction of the public during your concerts ?

We do not generally been negative reviews but if that were the case we are always ready to accept them.

What's your best live memory ? And why ?

Probably the VK in Brussels in March 2012.
A good approach to the public and excellent sound

And the worst one ?

Fêtes de Wallonie Jumet in September 2010, it was raining bucket people are all gone, it was freezing cold and the rain also fell on the stage. The must: a sound rotten!

What's your ideal concert poster ? (with you of course !)

At the bottom of the poster of a fest with Maiden and Dream Theater

What are your future dates ?

Kraken Metal Rock Fest 2 25/10/2014

Did you find a label ? If yes, how do you made the research ?

We have not sought to label this because of changes in line up, rebates levels, theft of equipment that are financially difficult to swallow etc ...

With Management and booking, how do you work ? And with whom ?

The husband of our singer helps us in our organization and research dates it is also part of the organization of the Kraken.

What are your projects ?

Play and have a stable formation

What would you like that the future offers you ?

The opportunity to turn a little more with other well known groups.

What's your motto ?

Go ahead !

What would you like to say to the readers ?

go to KMRF 2 October 25, 2014

And to young people who begin in the music world ?

Youth is undoubtedly the best thing to reach a potentially recognizable musical level but requires work everyday to get to the top. So guys are proud of making music and slog through!

Thanks for the upkeep
