Present yourself to the audience

Hi, We are DEFLORE the Human Industrial band. We are always searching to build up something musically different and we want to create a new style of music, free from stupid influences and styles.

What musicstyle do you prefer personaly and what are your influences ?

I don't have a preferred music style, I listen to almost every kind of music (excluding some shits like Linkin Park & sons) from industrial metal to electronic music, dub, trip hop and classical music (I personally love Wagner).
I really don't like the to feel strong influence from other bands, I think that everyone who wants to play must research his personal way of communicate , his own sound...like we do!
However the bands I really love are: Neurosis, Godflesh, Massive Attack, Autechre, Fantomas, Ufomammut and Aquefrigide (2 very cool Italian bands).

What's your opinion about the actual metal scene at your place ?

As I said, the Italian bands that I like are: Ufomammut and Aquefrigide. They are different from the masses, they research for new sounds and Lyrics; that's what I look over a band.
I personally think that Italy is the worst place in Europe for making music (especially hard and heavy music) and almost the bands are copies...and sometimes they copy each other ... It's all so sad!

What would be the festival of your dreams ? (with you playing in it of course !)

Some years ago we went in Lowlands festival in netherlands to see Korn during the "Life's a peachy" tour (after this album they are dead for me).
We definitely fall in love with this festival, not so big but very cool! So many bands, so many different style of music mixed in a big Party of three days!
We hope one day to play in one big European festival...everyone will be good!

What do you expect from the future ?

We know we'll never be in the show business, we'll never became rich with music. Probably the audience isn't ready. We only hope to leave a mark on the music scene, a little breath for the music of today and tomorrow.

What is your motto in life ?

"Pathos and saturation" two word to illustrate our sound and our passion for music research.

Is there something you'd like to say to the audience ?

Sure: "never stop searching...there's always something different..."
