Hi guys, I'm Simo from Shelter of Leech, we are an alternative metal band from Italy and we are really glad to be on your radio! What musicstyle do you prefer personaly and what are your influences ?

Honestly I haven't a referent stile, I just try to sing what I feel in me, what the music make me remind. It's the only way I know to be myself, to bring my emotions in our music and hopefully it works, It's like keep everything inside my self to throw it out to everybody when we are on stage.
My taste in music goes everywhere, from trash metal, prog.metal to indirock, postrock, 70s and much more, from Led Zeppelin to Jeff Buckley, Tool, Pantera, Deftones, SigurRos...

What's your opinion about the actual métal scene in Italy ?

Here in Italy we have lots of great band, the Alkemist Fanatix rooster its a good example. From metal core to trash and nu metal we really have good band, Ephel Duath , Sickhead, Blame, ArtDisorder, Gf93, and much more... the problem here in Italy is always the same, record label and company doesn't really trust in what goes different from the pop culture and the media doesn't help in that way. I don't know how is Mtv in France, here for example is simply crap, I have stopped watch it years ago, hiphop, r&b and lots of silly pop, I'm really scared about our little kids, how they can grow up with this music ?

What would be the festival of your dreams ? (with you playing in it of course !)

Probably playing at Woodstock should be the Dream ever. Thinking at now the best festival I could imagine should be the great OzzFest, there are always the best touring for Ozzy. But, a good dream should be playing with: Tool, Slayer, Mastodon, MarsVolta, they are amazing and just talk with them must be a deep experience;)

What do you expect from the future ?

Touring all the word with lots of money and chicks ;-) !
Back to reality we are now compose the new songs for the new records, we plan and hope to begin the recording section on September/October, and after who knows... we are in the good hand of Alkemist Fanatix ! We will see!

What is your motto in life ?

Just go on stage and kick ass !

First of all we want to thank u all for your great support, we are really glad to be on your radio and then guys I promise u: when our next record will be ready we will play some shows in Belgium and France so we will must drink some beer together !!!
