I am Kriistal Ann, a living organism that seeks to vibrate in the highest scale of the universal light. In most of my hours I create music, I share my time between poems and philosophical stories, I love to immortalize the moment in the static eternity of the camera lens. I am engaged in art, in the understanding of our incarnation on earth.
What’s the story for TOUCHED ON THE RAW ?
The title is inspired by the Greek mythology of Achilles' heel, the sensitive point of one's. Within this ideal, I wanted to compose songs that would be free from the borders separating musical genre. Giving an effect that would touch the sensitive strings of human imagination.
Are you day or night ?
I am both. Ιn the evening I play a leading role in my dreams and I try to follow them in the morning..
In the shower or in the bath, do you sing ? If yes, your songs or those of others ?
No, in the bathroom I usually do not sing.. I just try to experience the purification that water offers to my aura..
What's your best live memory ? And why ?
There are no best or worst live memories for me. Everything that has to do with the interaction, with the public is one of the concept of exchange, communication and hence the experience that can positively charge you or psychically suck you.
In studio, how is the atmosphere?
The atmosphere in the studio is always ritualistic. I prepare myself for the union with the superior self and the gradual building of inspiration. Everything is written in real time, as it emerge from my inner source, without the «chemical» processing of modern media like computers. Even the small mistakes that may exist will be kept there to make the sound more organic and direct to ear of the listener..
How does it work with the albums design?
To the covers artwork, I like to collaborate with other artists. I am very receptive to giving one's own vision to the already existing, his own quality and perspective to the project. However, it is difficult in today's time to find someone consistent and synchronized with my own reality, so usually I undertake visualization with all sacrifices of time and effort for the best possible result.
What do you expect from the future ?
Greater meritocracy and more awareness of the reason we chose to incarnate in matter. To open the paths of truth, witch leading to knowledge.
What's your motto ?
The more thou dost advance, the more thy feet pitfalls will meet. The Path that leadeth on is lighted by one fire - the light of daring burning in the heart. The more one dares, the more he shall obtain. The more he fears, the more that light shall pale.
