Who composes ?...How does it work in the band ?
Stefan writes the music and Ivan writes the lyrics and vocal melodies.
Why the name FATAL CASUALTIES ?
We took that name a long, long time ago. We liked the sound of it, and we still do.
What's your opinion about the current music scene in Sweden ?
I dont pay that much attention to it to be honest, but its probably alright if you dig into it.
Generally, what's the reaction of the public during your concerts ?
We´re on a “growing stage”, our music is growing and finding more fans, and at the same time many people still haven´t heard our music and don´t know what to expect of Fatal Casualties live. People are surprised.
What's your best live memory ? And why ?
Probably from one of our earlier shows back from 1991. We were young and looked good. When everything was like a fairytale and with screaming girls in the crowd!
What are your future dates ?
We´re in the final sprint with the new album. After that we´ll know.
In studio, what was the ambiance for the album “PSALM” ?...etc.…
Psalm was very much a struggle on many levels. I think that we musically had a pretty clear idea of where we wanted to go, but once we started writing it pretty much took off in another direction. After a while you just learn to go with it. It ended up being a great album.
How does it work for the design of the album ?
I like to work with different picture ideas. Some ideas ends up as crap, but in this case I think we did a lovely catch. Both with the feeling and the photo. It represent the album perfect.
What are your projects ?
Right now we are working on our new album. We've got a bunch of great songs that we are busy putting the final touches on. Once we are finished doing that we might look at doing some live-show or so. Then I think I'd like to write something completely different for a month or two. Maybe some solo-stuff just to get new energy.
Maybe I shall start to paint!?
What do you expect from the future after 30 years ! ?
I honestly dont know.

What would you like to say to the readers ?
I honestly don´t think Fatal Casualties music is made for any “easy ears”. You need to have the time to listen to our music. And many times. I´ve examples of our fans, one wrote back: “what a crap music!”. -Yeah yeah, I said, give it some more time and listening, you´ll change your mind. 2 years later, this person is one of our biggest fans.
And to young peoples who begin in the music world ?
Dont let the bastards drag you down! ;).
