My name is Rickard Andersson. I live in a small town called Skövde, in Sweden with my girlfriend and daughter. I'm the leadsinger of the most powerful and dangerous rock n roll band in Sweden. Enemies swe!! No, I'm not joking!
What musicstyle do you prefer personaly and what are your influences ?
I like rock music a lot. I am possessed by new and old rock n roll and blues. My new favourites: Queens of a Stoneage, Hellacopters, The Muggs, Pig Irön, Silvertide, The Subways, Velvet Revolver (Many More!) My old favourites: Four Horsemen, Hanoi Rocks, Circus of Power, Little Caesar, Black Crowes, the Cult, Junkyard, Life, sex and Death, Faster Pussycat, Asphalt Ballet, Rhino Bucket, Peer Gunt, Zodiac Mindwarp (Many more!) All time favourites and influences: I got to say: Shotgun Messiah (they are friends of mine from Skövde, Sweden. They were one of the first Swedish glam-bands making a noise over there (USA) Tim Skold's playing with Marilyn Manson today, Harry K Cody is playing with Tom Waits, Stixx is back here in Skövde playing for fun, Zinny has his own band Zan Clan in Stockholm. Bobby is playing with some friends of ours from Skövde. They did a big impression on me when I was a kid) Aerosmith, Kiss, Ac/dc, Motley Crue, Pistols, Guns N Roses, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Led Zepplin, Jimi Hendrix, Johnny Winter etc (You could do the list very long)
What is your best live memorie ? And why ?
Monsters of Rock 1984 Stockholm Ac/dc - Van Halen -Motley Crue 38000 drunk Vikings headbanging like crazy. Ac/dc's first gig with Brian Johnson in Sweden. Van Halen with David lee Roth, they opened up with 'Running with the devil'. Motley Crue's first gig in Sweden 'Shout at the devil tour' (The Swedish Newspapers write: Lock up your daughters and wife's cause Mötley's in town) I think the I don't have to explain to the 'Rock your Brain' readers why! Say no more! Last weekend Enemies swe were playing the Metaltownfestival in Gothenburg with Rammstein, Hammerfall, Hanoi Rocks, Apocalyptica etc. It was quite heavy to open up for those giants, but I think they gonna remember this Swedish rock n Roll band for a while, cause we kicked everybody's asses that day from the stage. We did one hell of a concert! That's for sure!
