Hello I'm Jim Wilson of Mother Superior

What music style do you prefer personaly and what are your influences ?

I can't stop listening to and discovering new music. It's my passion and I give it time everyday, so my favourite music style is whatever I feel like listening to on any particular day. Maybe it's AC/DC or Stravinsky-have you heard 'The Rite Of Spring'?? THAT'S punk rock. I listen to everything from Sun Ra to Sabbath. Beach Boys to Buck Owens. I would have to say my all-time biggest influences are The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and Stevie Wonder. And also Marcus and Matt.

What is your best live memorie ? And why ?

The audiences in Spain are great. And it was pretty cool touring the world and playing Black Flag songs with Henry Rollins. And one night in the California desert, I got to play "House Of The Rising Sun" with Eric Burdon and Daniel Lanois.

What would be the festival of your dreams ? (with you playing in it of course !)

Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, Kiss, Cheap Trick, Mother Superior (maybe U2 might want to come up a do a few tunes)...

What do you expect from the future ?

No one knows what the future holds so just hold on tight and go with it. I know that our music has been good to us and we just want to keep playing it.

What is your motto in life ?

Rock On!
