Present yourself to the audience
Hi everybody we are K-again a metalcore band from Italy and the Netherlands. We are on the road since 1998 and our last ep "Memories of an Evolution" is produced by Logan Mader (Machine Head, Soulfly). After a period in which we lived in Los Angeles we came back to Europe and we toured in a lot of countries to spread the word of our band. We are actually writing the new album and that's pretty it.
What musicstyle do you prefer personaly and what are your influences ?
I (pigo)personally really like a lot of style of music, basicly the modern Hardcore, the metalcore, but also noise and grunge and dark. I also enjoy electronic mixed with rock (like Sunna), ambient and drum'n'bass. My personal influences are for sure Eddie Vedder, Chris Cornell, and Mike Patton and Jamie Jasta. For the bands i would say Soundgarden, Static-x, Depeche Mode, Sonic Youth, Hatebreed, The Agony Scene, Chimaira, Sunna and a lot of more.
What's your opinion about the actual metal scene in Italy ?
It doesn't exist! I mean, we have a lot of bands but the scene is not only about the bands. To have a scene you need a support from Clubs, Radios, Magazines and in Italy they are not interested in Italian bands, plus the audience is basicly interested in foreign bands and quiet nobody cares about loco bands and it's even stupid for them to like an Italian band. That's why a lot of bands are starting to leave the country.
