Present yourself to the audience
Gf93 is an italian band formed back in 1996 by ex-Necromass singer Carlo Bellotti,we released 4 albums and played several tours in England with bands such as Misery Loves Company and Earthone9 and we shoot two videoclips who were broadcasted by Mtv during the last two years.After some line-up changes,we had the opportunity to work with Kurt Ballou of Converge who produced and mixed our last effort"Osr".Actually we are tourig Italy as well as Germany.
What musicstyle do you prefer personaly and what are your influences ?
We were always influenced and interested in the "dark" side of music..that's why we listen to the Cure,Bauhaus,Neurosis,Slayer and all the industrial scene with bands like Ministry and Nine Inch Nails.
What's your opinion about the actual métal scene in Italy ?
There are currently several good bands in Italy..think about Lacuna Coil,Extrema,Orange Man Theory but there is much more work to do..for example we need much more places to play gigs and the role of the musicians in italy is often misunderstood,that means we don't have the respect from the so call normal people we deserve to.
