I’m a singer/songwriter/recording artist from Seattle & based in Los Angeles.
What’s the story for your EP WET WITH FIRE ?
My producer Qmillion and I recorded a bunch of songs last year and there were 5 songs that really stood out as one vibe/energy so we decided to cut a 5-song EP…it can be best described as moody, edgy, dynamic, raw, & layered.
Your texts and your compositions ?..What are they talking about ?..How does inspiration come ?
I usually start with a guitar groove that I finger pick or strum then a melody comes, then the lyrics.
Are you day or night ?
I am both, but usually night Lol.
What are your personal musical tastes and your influences ?
I love all kinds of music, I love folk, rock, blues, jazz….but it has to be very musical and deep and meaningful or I get bored very fast. Joni Mitchell, Bon Iver, Fink, Peter Gabriel, Tracy Chapman, Nina Simone, Sting…
What’s your top 5 albums of all time ?

In the shower or in the bath, do you sing ? If yes, your songs or those of others ?
No i don’t really sing in the shower or in the bath out loud, but i do hear other peoples songs in my head that i may have listened to over the past day or two.
What's your best live memory ? And why ?
When my crowd sany my song « Angel Among Us » in 3 or 4 part harmony acapello… :-)
In studio, what was the ambiance for the EP WET WITH FIRE ?...etc.…
Himalayan salt lamps, a string of lights on the wall, candles, aromatherapy oil diffuser, maybe a little tequila on ice OR some ginger licorice tea.
How does it work for the design of the CD ? and why this title ?
You have to pick an image that really SPEAKS the title so out of all the photoshoots i took last year we found the shot that spoke the title then i got with my incredible friend whos took the photo and whos also a visual artist and she went to work and very quickly we had the image, i just let her do her thing then i made some corrections and that was that, it went very quickly…my last album cover took week ! haha….the name WET WITH FIRE came from sitting at a fire in my backyard one night and i was trying to come up with words to describe the songs and the essence of the album and the fire literally spoke to me ! :-)
Would you like to work with an artist ? If so who ?
Yes !!! Bon Iver, Peter Gabriel, Sting, Fink….
What would you have chosen as a job outside of music ?
I would be a wholistic doctor or i would work with plants, flowers, bonsai trees, and herbs…the study of horticulture.
What’s your biggest regret ?
That i wasn’t aggressive enough in this music business and didn’t force my way into doors more, its just not my style.
What are your projects ?
DEEPER THIS WAY is my last full album, it came out in 2016….its my lifes work and I’m very proud of that album…..I start recording my next album soon….it will be mostly acoustic, I’m very excited about it.
What do you expect from the future ?
More fan base in Europe.

What would you like to say to the readers ?
Listen to entire albums, it’s a lost art and its sad….Pay for your Music, if you like an artist go buy their entire album, they need your support more than ever. The fact that you have to buy books but not albums is heart-breaking. Musicians are not making any money these days and its not ok.
