Hi I'm Pierre Goudesone,I'm a independent musician & producer. Goudi is a solo-project and I just released my third album «Midnight Fever».The last two decades I recorded albums and played shows with my other projects Flesh&Fell and SpeakingT. I work also as producer or studio-engineer, I had collaborations with the Neon judgement,Vaya con dios to name a few.
Qui compose?...comment cela se déroule au sein du groupe?
I compose all the songs,once my skeletons are done (bass,drum-machine,rough gt,guidevocal) then I propose it to my musicians. Laurent Stelleman is coming in first for the guitar arrangements and then we go to the studio to record drums&bass,I take everything home and start to select and edit,then I decide the inserts or guest musicians and record the def-vocals then everything goes to the mix-engineer.

inspiration is everywhere i'm a observer and collector it can be a book,film or conversation,other musicians,articles in newpapers& magazines, relationships,I have always a recorder on me,it's my notebook though my apartment is full of paper notes with ideas and lines sticking all over the place.
Es-tu diurne ou nocturne?
I go to sleep late and I'm a early bird.
Quels sont tes goûts musicaux personnels et tes influences?
I've have listened many different styles of music and I still do. When I was about 14-15 took a older friend me often to concerts so I had the opportunity to see The kinks, Snakefinger,Alan Vega,Lou Reed,Bo Didley,Roxy Music,and more... what a revelation was this!my mother was listening to Gainsbourg, Adamo,Brel ... especially Brel had my attention.You know I grew up and lived in Oostende before I moved to Brussels and in the mid 80's the ferry connection with Dover was still open so I went often to London to buy clothes & records,new wave was all over the place(the sound,simple minds, killing joke,the cure,sisters of...)and we could see a lot of these bands playing in the Flanders.
Quel est ton regard sur la scène musicale actuelle chez nous en Belgique?
There is very good,original music out there but the possibilities to have exposure with that kind of music today on the formatted platforms like the national radio,TV, magazines is almost impossible, it's not about the music anymore but about celebrity,a lot of artist are trying to make music to please the tastemakers,and it's all so safe and boring... and then history repeats, you have the unserved audience, the sub-culture,were people are organising independent gigs&festivals, webzines,independent radio&webradio...,it's on a small scale but creates new opportunities, that hopefully grows further in the right direction.
Quel est votre meilleur souvenir live? Et pourquoi?
You mean one of my shows or shows that I attended? Difficult ... Goudi with the Stranglers (Depot Leuven) Filter @ the VK, Morphine @AB,Young Gods @ Trix,Gavin Friday @ stadsschouwburg Brugge... Rock music must have a non conformist attitude,with danger and sexual attraction.
Quelles sont vos prochaines dates?
We gonna do some more Goudi shows(festivals &clubs) with a setlist-mix from the three albums,new dates for 2017 will be soon announced,check the website or Facebook page.
