What’s the story for I DIDN'T COME HERE TO DIE?

The love of being on the road versus the struggle of coming back home and entering “civilian life.” After being on the road for 9 years and coming home feeling like I had lost my identity in music. The “devil’s fingernail” is the sliver of the moon. I looked up one night and saw the devil’s fingernail above my hometown and it became the hook of this song.

Why the name WHITE COLLAR SIDESHOW ?

It’s from a lyric in a song called “Who’s to Blame” by a band from Texas called Embodyment.

What are your personal musical tastes and your influences?

My top stations on Pandora are Outlaw Country, Italian Cooking, Billie Holiday and Supreme Beings of Leisure. Some of my influences are Rob Zombie, NIN, Hank 3, The Doors and Pink Floyd.

What's your best live memory ? And why ?

One of my favorites is playing with Skillet in Kentucky on my 35th Birthday. It was a big crowd and the vibe was awesome.

In studio, what was the atmosphere for your new album ?...etc....

Relaxed and fun. I spent one whole day recording all 11 songs, which was tough-after that, it was all about being creative. i feel like our producer, Chris Baseford and I work so well together.

How does it work for the great design of the CD? and why this title ?

Our friend Barbara Tagliati took that picture down in Brazil back in 2016. We knew then that it would be our album cover. The picture is magnificent in capturing our old western title. The title is from our title track-we wanted it to have an old western feel although we are calling it a “Space Western.”

What are your projects ?

I’ve already started writing our 4th concept album. It is several years away but when inspiration hits, I just start writing! our first album released in 2007 and is self titled. Our second album is called “The WitcHunt” and it released in 2012.

What's your motto ?

“If it ain’t broke, it ain’t ours.”
