Hello friends ! We will discover the universe of JESSICA WOLFF but especially their new album.
Present yourself to the readers
My name is Jessica Wolff. When I’m off the stage I practice martial arts, do stunts and acting for film and love to do extreme sports. I also work as a personal trainer, nutrition- and wellness coach. I love to collect experiences of all kinds. Life to me is like a big buffet. You take a little bit of everything and by the next round you know exactly what you want more of.
What’s the story for PARA DICE ?
“Para” means “counter” or “going against the force”. In this context dare to do your own thing. Rather than following everyone else. “Dice” is the metaphor for taking chances and risks in life. If you never dare to throw that dice and fully try something out you never know how far you can go. When you connect the words we have “paradise”. Everybody’s goal right ? To be happy. But how can you reach that balance and happiness without taking some risks and going through some obstacles and challenges in life. They’re the ones that teach you who you are, and how can you know what makes you happy if you don’t know yourself.
Your compositions and yourtexts ?..What are they talking about ?..How does inspiration come ?
It can come from a feeling, experience, an important subject or people I met. Pretty much anything. One text for instance tells about Ella, a school bullied girl I’ve been helping out. It’s a song about her story. Another one “The Sunny Side Of The Bay” is about being on tour and missing your loved one at home and how that “spotlight dream” is not complete without that person by your side.
Are you day or night ?
Day 😊
What’s your top 5 albums of all time ?
Pink Floyd - Another Brick In The Wall Takida - The Burning Heart Johnny Cash - At San Quentin 30 Seconds To Mars - This Is War Biffy Clyro - Opposites
In the shower or in the bath, do you sing ? If yes, your songs or those of others ?
Sometimes, depending on the shower. If it’s a quick one I don’t sing but if it’s a longer one I do sing. Never my own songs though 😂
What's your best live memory ? And why ?
The Heat festival was probably one of the best and one gig I had before that in an old chapel. There weren’t many people but the feeling was so amazing and I got to improvise a lot as well by singing a cappella in Swedish and another song on the piano. It felt like there were three times more people than there were.
