What’s the story for DEIN HELFER IN DER NOT ?
We released our albums every two years. This time I had some hard trouble with my knee. I couldn’t stand or sit. Only lying in bed. So, I took the time to write lyrics. I had a lot of songs ready before my knee problems. And so I soon had a lot of songs ready with lyrics. And then came Corona. All tours canceled. So I had a lot of time to work out, record and produce the album. And here it is. Hope you enjoy it.
Who composes ?...How does it work in the band ?
I compose everything.
Who writes the texts ?..What are they talking about ?..How does inspiration come ?
I write all lyrics. A lot of social critics. But often written with a lot of black humor. I often just look around me. What happens with me or with my family. The rent of our flat is getting bigger and bigger. Is this this still legal? You know what I mean? Very close things.
What's your best live memory ? And why ?
This was on the Greenfield festival in Switzerland. I had enough sleep the night before. We had great weather and behind the audience the swiss mountains as a view.
In studio, what was the atmosphere for your new album ?...etc.…
It was like always. A lot of stress and hard work. No day off for about 6 months.
